Pupil Premium Funding is allocated for pupils in the school, if their family meet the following criteria or have done at any time in the last 6 years:

To be eligible you must be receiving one of the following:

Income support or income-based Job Seeker’s Allowance;

Child Tax Credit with an annual taxable income of less than £16,190 (provided you are not also entitled to Working Tax Credit); Pension Guarantee Credit;

Income-related Employment and Support Allowance;

Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.

Children who are/have been looked after by the Local Authority or whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces are also eligible.

This money is allocated to ensure that individual children’s academic, emotional and social needs are effectively met, enhancing the high quality provision that is already in place for all children.

Socio-economic circumstances can create barriers to learning for some children, however, these challenges can be overcome with strategic planning, high quality teaching and learning, targeted intervention programmes and access to a range of curriculum and cultural enrichment experiences.

If you believe you are eligible for this funding please make an appointment to speak to Mr Wade, the head teacher.
