Quilters Governing Body
- Our School currently has 15 governors, including associate members, drawn from different sections of our community.
- We work collectively to support and provide challenge to the Head teacher and staff and act as ‘critical friends’, working voluntarily to help the school fulfil its considerable potential.
- The role of the governing body is strategic, not operational, with the Head teacher and staff managing the day to day running of the school.
- Our governing body has 3 committees: Curriculum (chaired by Mrs Alison Ford), Personnel (chaired by Mr David Hughes) and Finance & Premises (chaired by Mrs Kerry Gough). These committees meet regularly to discuss all aspects of these areas and to help the leadership team make important decisions.
If you would like to know more about becoming a governor in the future, please contact the Chair of Governors (Steven Kew) or Vice Chair of Governors (Alison Ford) via the school office.
